Using found objects from the garden we will create exquisite studies in detail as a record for posterity. Bring garden finds, berries, feathers, snail shells, seed cases and curled leaves. We will look at techniques including painting in detail, textures, shadows and placement. Individual guidance and demonstrations. This workshop is open to residential (full board) and non-residential participants (lunches/refreshments included). A material list and outline programme will be provided 8 weeks prior to the course start date.  Starting at 2.00 pm on 5 November and finishing by 3.00 pm on 7 November.  Tutor: Gael Sellwood.
